A story is then tailored to the child and their history using the chosen character. The aim of the story is to provide the child with an understanding of the history surrounding their birth parents which resulted in the choices they made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">This model does not require direct work with the child. Carer\u2019s are supported with sessions and they approve the story book before it is printed. The practitioner will also support the carer in preparing themselves for responses or questions asked by the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">The child\u2019s character can be anything!
